Though I have no photos right now -- tonight, I may change that -- I'm going to be doing a documentary photo project on body art for my advanced photojournalism class. I'll be posting the photos on this blog and tagging each with the "DocPhoto" line, as well as anything else that may occur to me.
As usual, it might work, it might flop, it'll probably some combination of the two, but that's life, no?

Mark has some nice ink you could probably convince him to let you photograph. His left arm is particularly nice. Actually, I know a lot of people with nice art, and who do nice art. If you're over this way, give me a call, I could probably hook you up. They're all camera whores on the inside.
And if you were looking for something else, I have rather symmetrical scars from body piercings you might could try and make photos out of. I'm not sure how that would work. Or hell, there are all the scars on my right leg too from those reconstructive surgeries. Those are more matter of chance, but I still consider them art.
Ooohhh and I just thought, my brother has a great ass tattoo, if you're looking for a both humorous and slightly grotesque detail shot. Would be nice in monotone, Rembrandt light sorta way. He also has one right over his dick which has a great story with it.
